How Protocol Bundles Can Simplify Your Support Routine
How Protocol Bundles Can Simplify Your Support Routine
If you've ever opened a page of herbal formulas, read every description twice, and closed the tab without ordering anything — you're in good company. That's one of the most common things people tell us.
It isn't indecision. It's that choosing between a dozen botanical formulas is a genuinely hard task, and it tends to land on people at exactly the moment they have the least energy for hard tasks.
Protocol bundles exist to solve that problem. Here's how they work and how to figure out which one fits.
Why Getting Started Can Feel Overwhelming
Three things tend to stack up at once.
You don't know which formula comes first. Botanical names aren't self-explanatory. Nothing about a list of ingredients tells you whether a formula is where you begin or something you add in three months from now. Without that sequencing, every option looks equally plausible, which is the same as having no information at all.
Bodies respond differently. Two people in the same county with the same summer of outdoor exposure can feel entirely different — one notices it in their joints, another in their energy, another in their sleep. There's no single answer that fits everyone, which means generic advice tends to be useless in either direction: too broad to act on, or too specific to be right for you.
You're often making this decision on a bad day. People rarely research herbal support when they feel great. They do it when something feels off, and decision-making is harder then. Any system that requires a lot of research up front is a system that fails the people who need it most.
Structure fixes most of this. Not more information — better organization of the information you already have.
What Protocol Bundles Are
A protocol bundle is a small group of formulas put together on purpose, organized around the kind of support you're actually looking for rather than around individual ingredients.
Three things they do well:
They answer the sequencing question for you. Instead of picking one formula and wondering what to add, you start with a set that was designed to work together from the beginning.
They're organized by need, not by botanical. You don't have to know what teasel does or why we use Japanese knotweed. You need to know whether you're looking for foundational support or whether joints and mobility are your priority. That's a much easier question to answer about yourself.
They show you how the pieces relate. Our LSF formulas are layered rather than interchangeable — that's a deliberate formulation choice, and seeing which ones are grouped together makes the logic visible instead of something you have to reverse-engineer.
Our Current Bundles
Foundational Support Bundle — LSF-1, LSF-3, and L-Glutamine
This is where most people start. It pairs our layered LSF approach with L-Glutamine for broad, foundational immune and seasonal support. If you're not sure which bundle fits, it's usually this one.
Joint + Recovery Bundle — LSF-4, LSF-5, L-Glutamine, and Joint-Regen
Built for people whose main focus is joint comfort, mobility, and recovery support. Joint-Regen does specific work here that the foundational bundle doesn't cover.
Mito-Regen — cellular energy support
Not a bundle on its own, but worth knowing about. Mito-Regen is formulated to support mitochondrial function and cellular energy production. Recovery work is metabolically expensive, and energy support is often the piece people are missing.
You can add it to either bundle.
Skincare Is Part of the Same Picture
We've spent this year building something alongside the supplement line, and it's worth explaining why.
Your skin is the largest organ in your body. It's absorbent, it's responsive, and it's in contact with whatever you put on it for eighteen hours a day. If you're paying close attention to what goes into your body, it's a strange gap to not apply the same standard to what goes onto it.
Most conventional skincare doesn't meet that standard. Synthetic fragrance, hormone-disrupting preservatives, cheap filler oils that oxidize — these are the norm, not the exception, and they can quietly work against the effort you're putting in everywhere else.
Our new line is formulated the way our supplements are. Cold-pressed organic oils. Botanical extracts chosen for a specific reason and used at meaningful percentages. Nothing included to make a label look impressive.
It's also built for skin that most products aren't gentle enough for — sensitive, reactive, and compromised skin. That's the formulation problem we set out to solve, and it's the one we're proudest of.
Late Summer Is a Good Time to Do This
Being proactive is easier in August than it is in November.
Right now the days are still long, the routine is still loose, and there's a little slack in the schedule. In six weeks there won't be. School, harvest, holidays, and shorter days have a way of absorbing every good intention you had about your own health.
So if you've been meaning to get organized about this, the window is open now. Pick a bundle, start it, and let it become routine before the season gets busy.
And if you're still not sure which one fits — ask us. Reply to an email, use the contact form, call the shop. We would much rather spend ten minutes helping you choose well than have you buy the wrong thing or nothing at all. Education is most of what we do here; the products are just what we make.
